For the 3b there is an experience requirement that will need to be met and you have 4 options to choose from:

- Work as an active RT (Registered Technician) for a Category 3b licensed business for at least 90 days; OR
- Work as a licensed applicator in any category for at least one year; OR
- Complete a formal post-high school, two-year minimum turf program and submit official transcripts to OISC for approval.
